Pros

I literally cannot think of one pro.

Cons

VTS Rise VTS Rise upper management is an inept alcoholic bro culture boys club. Some people here are actually good people, they are just surrounded by more horrible people. It is everything you read about in the context of “The worst experiences at a company”. Management knows literally nothing about managing, often cover things up. They think “culture” is getting drunk almost everyday in the office and pressuring other to drink as well. Everything is micro managed, and will often ask you to comprise your values as a professional. Be careful what you say, as everyone will snitch on you. Try to never bring up any thoughts or complaints that goes in any direction again the grain. You will be labeled. Also, don’t say anything negative ever, you are expected to non stop pat yourself on the back otherwise you really aren’t seen as getting things done. There is no training here, there are no roles and responsibilities, no way to know if your are doing good or bad. Lots of turnover … no surprise. Pay is absolutely horrible. The product is complete garbage. Constantly breaking, looks like it’s from 1996. The top management often states that it doesn’t care what it looks like, as long as the client signs the contract. Overall, toxic culture and environment. Working here is literally the worst experience I’ve had in my entire life.

Pros

- Great work-life balance - You are surrounded by like-minded people who respect your professionalism and perspective on work-life balance. - The Company is currently going through huge transformation, so you will be joining at the right time; the worst part is over. - Tired of cut-throat, performance driven culture? great place to park yourself for few years for high cash comp and piece of mind. - If you are driven / want to make a change, your efforts will be highly valued here. - Great place for entry or mid-level as there will be ample opportunities for you to step up due to constant openings driven by high attrition and layoffs. If you line up well, you will have the fastest promotion tracks in your career. - Great place for people who can navigate corporate culture, read the room, and go with the "flow". your ability to ingratiate, perpetuate and be part of the core culture will be highly rewarded here. - Lots of exceptions, special one-time leeways are given stealthily and regularly. Just ask. - In short, the Company needs more driven, smart people to boost the performance. - You have a once-in-a-life-time opportunity to be part of great transformation and exit story.

Cons

- your experience and rewards may vary vastly depending on which department you join, but if you come in with the right mindset, that should not bother you - occasional (but periodic and predictable) layoffs. You will hear rumble and management does a good job of not hiding it
