Pros
- Coworkers are friendly - Chicago office is spacious, comfortable, and feels nice to work in - Industry (real estate technology) is interesting and constantly changing - Pay and benefits are good - Employee diversity is pretty good although the culture is bro-y at times - Onboarding and trainings run by product education are helpful and thorough
Cons
- Senior leadership said all employees have to return to office 3x a week in Feb 2023 after many people had been working fully remote for almost 3 years, for no better reason than "CEO says so." They also refused to provide a commuting/parking benefit after making this ruling. - Processes could be better explained and documented. Collaboration from different departments can be painful because each department has their own timeline and expectations. I get that it's a startup but it's been over 10 years; things should be written down more thoroughly. This was especially an issue with the Lane acquisition and trying to merge VTS and Lane processes. - Department and job specific training could be more structured and specific - NYC office is cramped and uncomfortable - 2023 layoffs tanked morale
