Pros
- Decent pay for Toronto - Unlimited vacation days - Remote working for devs (for now...)
Cons
- Terrible decision-making coming from the top-level, who change their strategy every 6 months - C-suite is entirely out of touch with the employees - There used to be some level of transparency, for example anonymous Q&A at all-hands that's shared publicly. Q&A is no longer anonymous and is only shared with leaders who choose to answer questions or not. They've even turned off the zoom chat so you can't comment during meetings. It really comes across like they're scared of getting feedback - Re-orgs are happening too often and aren't aligned to the software architecture, people's skills or performance. Seems like director-level or higher folks are making these decisions without even speaking to managers or having a clue who they're moving around
