Pros

- Full-time work with consulting / contracting work benefits - Since you work for clients, you can move to different contracts or projects so the work is always changing - Tons of swag/holiday gifts / free lunches (via Doordash) - Amazing environment & work/life balance - Super friendly support staff - Really helpful fellow employees - Diverse and inclusive team - Fun events outside of work like Trivia Nights, annual Halloween Contest, and Gift Swap - They always try to put you in a project that plays to your strengths

Cons

- You don't get to pick the project you work on - Sometimes you just have to cater to client stakeholders' wishes, not a lot of "artistic freedom" - Because of the nature of client work/contracts, your team members might shift around to/from projects you are working on

Pros

Loved the company culture, fun events, and lots of bonuses. Even though the work was remote, I felt close to the employees and management.

Cons

The clients gave little or no expectations, and difficult requirements to understand. Expectations were not managed well by project managers. It was difficult to tell if I was doing a good job without any way to improve until I found out I was off the team.

Pros

Very open and accepting place to work. There are good camaraderie, good hours of work, and lots of room for growth and learning. The management team tends to be very understanding of employee issues (almost to a fault) and receptive to feedback. The health benefits are totally free and really great. Beer fridge for those over 21. Very cool office. Sweet quarterly parties. Helpful (if sometimes delayed) quarterly 1-on-1 reviews. Quickly-growing startup that's done a pretty good job of not over-extending itself.

Cons

Some people with negative attitudes (see those 1-star reviews) are/were allowed to stay on the team for too long due to the understanding nature of the management team and some lack of a clear system of accountability for behavioral issues. That can actually be more of a morale killer than anything else. No employee-sponsored retirement plan (yet). Lacking some structure/policies that could be helpful.
