Pros

VTG has a very friendly work environment. Most employees seem to be great work friends or friends outside of the office. There are some good managers that are willing to help you succeed. 1-hour lunch with many food options nearby if needed. Will help you if you communicate what you're dealing with. CEO and VP are very hands-on, you see them in the office daily which is nice.

Cons

Burnout comes easy. The actual commission percentage received does not seem to match what we were told. So you have to work 3x as hard to see some nice commission. The work schedule is 5 days 40 hrs a week, but most of us work 7 days a week to meet the desired commission goals. Health insurance premiums are high. Overcrowded parking lot. No PTO. Not a position that needs to be in the office or hybrid as long as it is, after training, you can do everything at home but you aren't eligible to go hybrid until 6 months and fully remote at 12 months (w/ other requirements)

Pros

Ability to work from home, and uncapped commission

Cons

Out of touch responses to any negative review. Rigid adherence to how things have been operating, and unable or unwilling to consider suggestions that would actually improve the relationship between company and agents. Surveys use a non-standard metric, just because it's what Alan wants, despite standard surveys (CSAT/NPS) being available.
