Pros

No outbound cold calling, customers call in to call center from company website, email newsletter, adwords, and magazine publications. Customers not able to book vacation packages online, so they have to call and speak to someone. It's an old -school business philosophy, but it provides an extra level of service for the customers. If you've been with the company for a long time, it nice to have repeat past clients.

Cons

Being a broker/agent selling various travel products can be really confusing, especially when there are different promotions going on every week. 100% commission job, so it takes a while to build your pipeline of business.

Pros

Ability to work from home, and uncapped commission

Cons

Out of touch responses to any negative review. Rigid adherence to how things have been operating, and unable or unwilling to consider suggestions that would actually improve the relationship between company and agents. Surveys use a non-standard metric, just because it's what Alan wants, despite standard surveys (CSAT/NPS) being available.
