      Pros

      Management is great and have learned lots from them. Pay is really good for what is asked for. Work / life balance is great.

      Cons

      Not a lot of potential to move ahead within the company. Hiring freeze has left me stranded and nowhere to move up to.

      Pros

      GREAT work environment at Virginia State Police. Pay is good. Better than most contract employers for benefits. Supposed to get a bonus of a week's pay after 1 year and some paid holidays at that point. Best thing is getting to work on projects in AWS.

      Cons

      Requires 4 days a week on-site. No OT allowed. No pay for holidays, sick days or vacation. VITA requiring me to get a PMP, even though I was told I did not need one for the role.
