      Frustrating experience - Content Reviewer Vaco Employee Review

      Pros

      - Diversity. Great co-workers - Remote. Flexible starting time, flexible breaks

      Cons

      - I worked in one of their Google temporary projects. Despite assurances during the interview process that this project could lead to further opportunities within the company, none became available. This left me feeling misled. They kept temp workers in the dark until the very last minute. The project abruptly ended, and temporary employees (over 40 individuals) were notified of their termination with minimal notice (3 days). - NO PTO. Only UNPAID time off and 9 paid sick days per year. - no 401k match

      They reached out to me. Followed up with me and kept me informed throughout the entire process.

      None. The assignment is region specific but that has nothing to do with Vaco

      Pros

      Pay and benefits are adequate and some great employee's to work with.

      Cons

      At my local office there was poor management and communication, things constantly changing, lack of direction, no consistency on how things are done or managed, too much time wasted during the day on meetings that accomplish nothing.
