Pros
$5 meals on the mountain
Cons
Working for a 9 billion dollar company that still doesn't value or respect its hard-working employees: Vail Resorts does not always pay their full-time or H-2B/J-1 employees on time, I have witnessed and experienced this horrendous phenomenon. Employees are all too familiar with their state's Wage & Hour Division. If they're not, they should be. Scandalous upper management with unsupervised clout. The upcoming slight increase in employee pay will not provide enough income to live comfortably in any Vail Resort mountain town. Nonexistent Human Resources department. Deserted payroll department. NO affordable long-term housing options in Vail Resort mountain towns. Horrific (small and overcrowded) employee housing environments. Steady employee attrition. Vail Resorts is only getting worse by the second.
