Pros
Work/life balance was good, I wasn't expected to work extra hours, and was allowed to take time off as needed
Cons
When I started at Valant, it was a small start-up, and people had to wear many hats. Now, 10 years later, Valant is a small start-up, and people have to wear many hats. Due to many mistakes, bad starts, and horrible leadership, Valant spins its wheels and goes nowhere. I have heard from other people who were still there that the new CEO has improved things, but other recent reviews seem to think otherwise. I worked in more than one department during my time there. Support is always chronically understaffed and underappreciated Engineering is in a bubble, not really understanding what the rest of the company deals with Leadership only cares about themselves and their favorites Managers often play favorites with employees, allowing some people to shine at the expense of their coworkers Some employees cause it to be a toxic work environment
