Pros
I truly enjoy working at Valant. I think most of the leadership team cares deeply about staff, customers, and each other. Working for a fully remote company is a dream, and hours are managed on individual teams, so there is a lot of flexibility and honesty and human understanding - you are not expected to be a robot at Valant. Everyone is helpful and considerate and gets along well. There are lots of opportunities to provide and receive feedback. Culture is warm and respectful, and people seem to trust each other, and the CEO is very heavily involved and communicative. Every decision is data-driven, so it's easy to understand people's behavior and explain your own.
Cons
Some corners are cut when new features are being rolled out, which leads to unhappy customers and frustrated staff. Product development teams need to prioritize UI/UX and user-testing before features are released. Teams tend to run lean, so staff members are responsible for so many cross-functional responsibilities, some of which they may not be qualified for. Being fast-paced can be a good thing, but I think it more commonly works against Valant. Also, unlimited vacation and 401(k) match should be standard at this point.
