The wear & tear on your body & vehicle especially if you're working a property yourself.
Management doesn't seem to take into account that the more people move in the more trash & recycling there will be and if you're solo on a property like one with 15 three story buildings, they expect the job to be completed in the same time frame (Sunday 3hr time slot, Mon - Thur 2hr time slot) & don't know the actual amount we have to deal with.
Management & property not seemingly enforcing property cleanliness or the observations we report & the same residents routinely leave empty trash cans out & cans with trash inside fostering maggots or flies or multiple heavy bags that are ripping on the ground. Also large amounts of cardboard often not broken down to have to make multiple trips up & down the stairs.
For what we do dealing with the weather, wear & tear on the body & using your own vehicle & the hazardous trash we deal with, a bump in pay from $17 to $20 maybe $22/hr would be helpful. Would increase the morale or employees and could help curb retention & keep people working this as a helpful part time job.
