Pros

·Thorough training ··Upbeat and Fun. Unlike the monotonous boredom many entry-level jobs can have. ···Scheduling was pretty flexible ····Literally from Day 1 they provide a clearly laid out path for employees to move up in the company. *Great Company Culture Overall* -My experience at the Mall Rd Florence, KY store literally felt like family. I always felt that the people I worked under (and beside) not only wanted to help me succeed professionally but also genuinely cared about me as a person. Even the people much higher up in corporate (that you don't see often) knew all the Techs by name. When they would tour stores they always took the time to spend a few minutes getting to know us as people. While I'm sure experiences can vary by location and leadership, in order to sustain a culture as positive as theirs, it has to start from the top down. VIOC absolutely nails that in my opinion.

Cons

·You WILL get dirty. ··Temperatures fluctuates greatly depending on the time of year. ···I personally disliked the "sales" aspect, however it was minimal and in no way pushy like many sales positions can be, for the employee or customers.

Pros

Okay starting pay. Acceptable starting point if you're looking to get into the automotive industry

Cons

Lack of coverage when your shift ends often leading to being forced to stay an hour over at least. None of the locations have any form of AC or other way to cool down except the office sometimes having water bottles, even in heatwaves. The pit is only ever staffed by one person working both or more bays even though there are supposed to be two+ working one each. Managers will not work on the cars themselves but rather immediately run into the office and close the door to play games on their phones after selling the customer $200 worth of service. Policy requiring you help all customers in line even if you're already closed, leading to staying an hour or more past closing. Customers are not required to turn off their vehicles while waiting in line, leading to severe burns from hot oil or hot metal, especially on diesel trucks. Forget about taking time off for vacations or family, stores are intentionally kept understaffed so you have to work or risk getting fired. You are expected to stay late or come in on your days off to do training bookwork despite being consistently scheduled for 10+ hour shifts. 10+ hour shifts in blistering heat with no one offering water from the office or lobby fountain
