Pros

I learned a lot while working there.

Cons

on site management is never on time. therefore the employees cannot clock in on time and loose hours permanently as a direct result. The owners and general territory management are completely self involved and steal from employees. NO FANS are provided in outdoor setting during consistent 103 degree weather working over hot engines. CONSTANT disregard for employee safety by OWNERS. They steal our hours by not documenting them correctly and refusing to fix it. after several complaints I mentioned calling the labor board. finally I was acknowledged by threats to write me up for reporting the issue and holding them responsible. even with picture and video proof they still NEVER PAID ME FOR MY LABOR. blaming you for THEIR incompetent and ILLEGAL mistake and then threatening you to intimidate you into submission is their go to. I provided proof of their bull shi t several times and was still NEVER compensated. Management is a JOKE. They have to be the most unprofessional "corporate" employees I ever interacted with in my life. I come from a family of business owners. Every single adult over 35 own and runs at least two business or more. I have never witnessed such a greedy and unprofessional managerial staff. The direct manager on site was simply a small pawn attempting to survive real managements cheap, unhelpful, and blatantly RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL behavior.

Pros

Okay starting pay. Acceptable starting point if you're looking to get into the automotive industry

Cons

Lack of coverage when your shift ends often leading to being forced to stay an hour over at least. None of the locations have any form of AC or other way to cool down except the office sometimes having water bottles, even in heatwaves. The pit is only ever staffed by one person working both or more bays even though there are supposed to be two+ working one each. Managers will not work on the cars themselves but rather immediately run into the office and close the door to play games on their phones after selling the customer $200 worth of service. Policy requiring you help all customers in line even if you're already closed, leading to staying an hour or more past closing. Customers are not required to turn off their vehicles while waiting in line, leading to severe burns from hot oil or hot metal, especially on diesel trucks. Forget about taking time off for vacations or family, stores are intentionally kept understaffed so you have to work or risk getting fired. You are expected to stay late or come in on your days off to do training bookwork despite being consistently scheduled for 10+ hour shifts. 10+ hour shifts in blistering heat with no one offering water from the office or lobby fountain
