Good pay, I think it was competitive.

Terrible management, coworkers were rough, hazardous workplace environment.

- hands on work, with opportunity to learn a lot cause aint no body will teach you. - exposure to having to do all the work yourself. The opportunity for you really is to learn about manufacturing and design but you have to do the learning yourself. There is a half decent machine shop so if you have the enthusiasm for it, you can do a lot and learn fast.

- Nepotism is all over the place. You wont actually go up, just get loaded with more work if you are hard working and smart. - After that fast initial learning there is a steep drop. The business is strategy is BS, literally. And you will become stuck as a part of that BS if you dont work on your skills on the side. I observed the Production, Engineering, Business Development, and Service managers for years how they made BS up for the customer, or to make sales or get SRED money. Their leader and god is the CEO and he has created this BS. They try so hard to maintain their image as a high quality "engineering " company. They spend all the energy on trade shows, behind all of it is what I said above.
