      Pros

      You’ll learn a lot about how to build a data center, and it’s a good start to launch your data center career.

      Cons

      Zero training and onboarding that is position-specific. Plays favorites with whom gets promoted. The construction division looks down upon personal time off. Expects senior-level competency at junior level positions Painfully indecisive and frugal as it continues to “optimize costs” and wants an accelerated turnaround for potential clients. Company practices are ULTRA tribal, bureaucratic and take a long time to learn. It isn’t written in a manual. Communication is siloed. Very few of its construction managers have kids and the company tries its hardest to keep it that way.

      Pros

      Overall, Vantage is a really good place to work, especially if you want to be part of a company that’s growing quickly and doing meaningful work in the data center space. The projects are interesting and impactful, and there’s a lot of opportunity to learn and grow. The people are probably the best part. Most teams are supportive, collaborative, and genuinely want to help each other succeed. Compensation and benefits are solid, and the company is in a strong position within the industry.

      Cons

      Because the company is growing so quickly, things can feel a bit hectic at times. Priorities can shift, and it can take some effort to keep everything aligned. Depending on the team and workload, work-life balance can fluctuate during busier periods. There can also be some inconsistency in how processes or expectations are handled across different teams, which can be frustrating at times.
