Pros

The company offers amazing services to people all over the US! Our tutors, and staff are wonderful. The people they hire as Directors are a fantastic group. Smart, talented, witty and hard working Directors & Regional Directors make this company run. Sadly, the staff is overworked and under appreciated. Working from home is still a perk, however the hours are so long that you never feel like you're able to separate work from home life.

Cons

Directors and Regional Directors are worked to the bone for a low salary. The ridiculously long hours (10 hour work day minimum), and 11 day on/3 day off work schedule is not manageable long term. The company justifies your 55-60 hour work week as fine because you no longer have a daily commute. If you do the math, the Directors are making less hourly than the tutors. Client care is a thing of the past. Activity reports & sale numbers out weigh any concern for clients. Everything is being micro managed now, to the point where the ability to feel a connection to your clients, get to know their needs, and take care of them is completely lost. The company is losing amazingly talented team members every week because people can't handle the hours, and the pressure.

Pros

The teaching platform is excellent and user-friendly. The virtual classroom includes useful features such as an interactive whiteboard, which makes online teaching effective and engaging. Experienced instructors also have considerable freedom to design their own lessons and adapt materials to students' needs, allowing for high-quality instruction. Payment is processed twice a week, and instructors can easily track their earnings through the platform, which provides transparency and convenience.

Cons

Student cancellations can be challenging, especially when they occur only minutes before class. Some sessions are repeatedly rescheduled and later canceled again, making it difficult to predict income. Policies and procedures may change frequently, requiring instructors to adapt regularly to new guidelines. Work availability can fluctuate significantly. Instructors may have many students during one period and very few later on, particularly when students complete exams or finish their school year. Overall, this can be a good opportunity for supplemental income and flexible teaching experience, but it may not be ideal as a sole or highly predictable source of income.
