Pros
- The co-workers are amazing. - They care, and we're a mission-driven company. - It's a great organization where we can learn good practices. - The internal mobility opportunities are great. - Remote first company
Cons
It used to be amazing, but it's going downhill. - There's no work-life balance flexibility anymore. Long hours without recognition. - Benefits have decreased over the years (for many years). - It's becoming a micro-management culture (e.g., they control your calendar, LinkedIn activities, what you can post, and so on). - In post-pandemic tech layoffs, the company boasted about 'no layoffs' to Wall Street, but in reality, they asked managers to push people away (which we did) - essentially disguising tech layoffs. I guess, the CEO can't take ownership. - Teams are shuffling every week. Feels like a lack of strategy sometimes.
