There are cons to working at a consulting company, but many cons could also be viewed as opportunities. The biggest one is probably You have to work with folks from other firms, but that means you get to learn how to work with folks across boundaries such as other firms. That boundary means that your feedback on such associates may not have much effect, regardless of how difficult they may be to work with.

Velir has a strong supportive work culture. We are finding our voice in the echo system and committed to delivering exceptional work to Clients. This job is not one you just clock out and not think about, it’s the one you wake ,up excited to tackle the next adventure and see what you can attribute to the team! The support we all have for one another is amazing and the way we all roll our sleeves up together is what I have been looking for in a company for a long time.

Cons

Our calendars definitely have quite a bit of meetings daily but we are working as a team to find ways to minimize these and allocate ways to support one another.
