Pros
Great culture, great people, fantastic to put on your resume. The clients are the cream of the crop, so you'll work with some of the biggest names around. Flexible hours and ability to work from home when needed. They are relaxed with vacation and are extremely understanding with emergencies and very supportive. Management are really good people (but read cons). Minimal drama, but their is favoritism. They do a lot to foster team spirit in and out of the office. They also invest in training and certifications for employees without conditions. You will learn a LOT at Velir and the entire team is extremely patient and forgiving with new people. It's a great place to work (not perfect), if offered a job - take it.
Cons
Upper management tends to be a bit "clique-y" and if you're not in the group then you can feel left out. This isn't because they are jerks, it's more because upper management is a bit young and still learning. IMO C-levels should have MBAs, and it shows here why. People running the company should have more qualifications than being friends or buddies of the higher-ups. Some of the higher-ups don't know basic business concepts that are taught in grads schools. Career paths can be a bit ambiguous so be sure to discuss this in detail (and writing?). None of this should deter someone from working here - just be aware of some of the shortcomings (which all companies have, really).
