While we believe in creating an environment where team members have a real opportunity to turn poor performance around, we also know that an under-performing colleague can make a significant impact on team morale. While candid conversations and honest evaluations help our team leaders strike a balance between these two priorities, every situation is different, and decisions should be made on a case-by-case basis. Sharing your own observations and perspective with your Maintenance Manager can help all parties better understand the full set of circumstances, so please be sure to speak up if you do run into any similar issue in the future.
On the topic of team events, we’re excited to have returned to in-person team meet-ups for events like our Venterra Experience Awards, Venterra Leadership Conference, and regional Family Fun Days, but, in line with our Leader Promise to have fun and celebrate success, we’ll continue exploring new opportunities for group get-togethers.
