      Pros

      I've been working in solar for over 7 years. Most companies do not operate at all like Venture. The owners have built their own company from the ground up and have taken on all the responsibilities of the positions they fill. Extremely generous sales compensation that rewards hard work and good behavior. If you want to find a place that values genuinely helping people everyday and trying to make a difference this is the company to work and the industry to be in.

      Cons

      The worst company to work for, extremely high turnover due to incompetent management and owners of the company. They have products they want you to sell that aren’t even launched, then get confused when deals fall apart. They want “yes men” to work for them, any individuality is reprimanded. They encourage you to do anything to get the deal done, even if that means drinking alcohol or smoking with customers. Safety is not a priority for them even slightly. In their words, whatever it takes to get it done. Bizarre place to work.
