Amazing and supportive BCBAs Lots of training opportunities Decent culture They do try to keep all employees in the loop of the company happenings

Cons

Scheduling is terrible for in-home techs, and once you have a client your only way out is either to go through a lot of red tape to get removed or quitting the position altogether. If you’re changing your schedule due to burnout, prepare to get interrogated on why you need it so badly. Which leads to... They do not care about if you’re burned out or not; once you’re in, you’re in. You’re often the only tech working with a client so if you need time off/call out sick... Good luck.

Your feedback is very valuable, and we encourage you to speak with your supervisor as well. With a new VP of Field Operations and the addition of more Field Coordinators to provide a team-oriented environment, our goal is for therapists to feel supported and have more than one supervisor to work with when there are concerns- whether in the Center or the Field. To provide the highest quality of care to clients, we strive to minimize provider turnover as much as possible. For that reason we do need as complete of a picture as possible when a Therapist asks to transition, so that we can be careful not to affect continuity of care or put a new Therapist on the case who will also need to transition off. Dont have health coverage but it's not really a con because it's a part-time position and they already stated this when you starting the job.

Full time center hours was the only pro

Cons

Pretty much everything. VB used to be a great company at the forefront of ABA services but they are stuck in 2017 with no interest in getting better. They are the laughing stock of the field now. The company has gotten so corporate and heartless. They only care about money, not about the kids. They reinforce absolutely terrible behavior from staff in order to not have difficult conversations and then deflect blame. They expect the world from employees who are stretched so thin and are begging for help. And if you dare speak up or call these things out, you get labeled as a problem and get forced out one way or another.
