Pros
The people that you work with make dealing with the daily frustrations bearable.
Cons
Prior to the acquisition, MaxPoint was a great company to work for. Unfortunately since the acquisition, many of the things that made the company worthwhile are no longer in place. We had unlimited PTO, 100% paid health insurance, quarterly bonuses, team outings, and merit increases. None of these perks are around anymore. The only thing we can count on now is that there will be layoffs each quarter that we don’t hit our revenue goals. A lot of what’s going on behind the scenes is controlled by Harland Clarke, our stakeholders who have zero concept of the day to day. It makes it difficult for anyone to feel valued or heard because none of those decision makers sits in our office. My advice to any prospective employees: look elsewhere.
