      Pros

      This company is a good place to work with competitive pay and a culture that helps you to succeed. Most of the leaders are caring, passionate individuals with good communication skills. The longevity of many associates is a testament to a culture where good people want to work and stay.

      Cons

      The medical insurance benefits have significantly deteriorated in the last several years. There is some concern that the print advertising arena is slowly dying. The question is can Valassis make the necessary changes to thrive in the digital advertising environment.

      Pros

      This is a great place to grow your career. I've moved multiple times in the company, with a pay increase every time and a more engaging role every time. Benefits are nice.

      Cons

      There seems to be a disconnect sometimes between the different management tiers, higher ups to plant managers to shift managers and vice versa. It also appears to be slimming down quite a bit on work.
