Pros
Basically, the pay is about the only reason to stay which is pretty decent. Other than that, there really is no other redeeming reasons to work here.
Cons
Every one of the negative reviews I have read on here is completely correct. I cannot state it more succinctly than has already been done by others. These are not disgruntled employees. I suspect the few good reviews on here are made by individuals who have a constantly optimistic attitude. However, I'm a realist. This company has seriously lost what made it great. The last couple nominations for Top 100 Companies to work for really hasn't been deserved and has been pushed by management more than anything. I'm not sure how other departments are, but the pressroom is a total nightmare. Over the last few years, there have been numerous layoffs, they have got rid of several presses and are now closing one of the plants down south. Printing is already a dying industry and management keeps making decisions that only exacerbate the losses. Since I've been here I've seen so many talented people leave on their own, get let go due to downsizing or other reasons. Team members are constantly getting shuffled around. Management says one thing, then a month later the plan changes. Morale is at the lowest I have ever seen at any employer I have ever been with. They have had a constant stream of temps coming through the pressroom so the company can pay people less for doing the same work, leaving pressroom members constantly training new people only to lose them a couple weeks later and have to start the whole process again. There are no breaks here, you take them when you can and if you are webbing up the press over and over again the whole night, that's what it is. You just gotta skip out on eating. There are numerous people leaving this place and those that aren't are fed up and I know numerous people looking for other places to work. This places days are numbered.
