Pros

Good teams and resources who are helpful to one another.

Cons

Where do I start? This company is selfish, they have immature and insecure bmanagement, unplanned layoffs and hiring, BUDGETARY MISCALCULATIONS, primitive development standards, selfish attitude when it comes to senior leadership pocketing big bonuses and no respect or adulation for any hardw working individuals. They look for any and every reason to let people go, it doesn't matter how hard you worked, nor how much efforts you put into the company and projects, they are merciless and they will not give any reason and will just fire you. It is very common to see multiple team members leave (due to quitting or getting fired), and it's so common the old timers here think and act as if that is a normal and good thing. What it is, is extremely alarming and a HUGE RED FLAG. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, they do NOT VALUE your loyalty, hard work and efforts. and as I said, any one mistake you make they will use that against you to fire you. Getting fired here is like second nature. I have seen enough here and am actively interviewing and planning to leave. Good luck.

Pros

I have been a product manager at several companies, and it is genuinely one of the best environments I have worked in. Verisk provides a unique opportunity to work closely with customers, engineering, design, and leadership to solve meaningful problems and deliver products that create business value. Product managers are trusted to help shape strategy and influence key decisions. Teams collaborate effectively, and there is a shared commitment to delivering high quality outcomes for customers. Leadership is approachable and receptive to new ideas, creating an environment where innovation is encouraged.

Cons

Navigating insurance regulatory requirements and customer compliance can occasionally slow feature development and release timelines.
