Pros

Really fun relaxed environment. A great laid back company.

Cons

Starting pay is a little low, and not as great benefits (Vacation, Sick Leave) as my previous jobs.

Thank you for your candid feedback regarding pay and benefits. We are always looking for ways to improve in these areas. Such as funding the full deductible on our HRA plan. In regards to PTO (paid time off) we moved away from separate sick and vacation days a few years ago. We did not want to be in the business of making a judgement call regarding if you were using time off correctly. Is your cat being sick a reason to call in sick? That depends on the person. Instead we provide a generous amount of time off and leave the management of that time up to the individual person. After the first year of employment you receive 20 PTO days a year, enough for a decent vacation and still allow for an unplanned illness. Hopefully, this will provide you with some insight as to why we handle paid time off the way we do.

Pros

In my department, we had very flexible schedules and were not terribly micromanaged. You get lots of PTO and holidays, and the benefits package is pretty good.

Cons

Lack of transparency, and downright lies from upper management. The pay is severely lacking for the work you do if you aren't in a role that gives incentive bonus. All levels of management are secretive and will stab you in the back if it will benefit them. There is not much team development or work culture with almost everyone working remotely.
