Pros

Great benefits Competitive pay Liveable wage base salary Great people

Cons

There are several problems within the Rolling Meadows office, the biggest problem are certain Managers of the 10 Managing Partners and the Closers. Managers here were once successful Business development reps and were brought into management roles. Just because you were a top producer years ago doesn’t qualify you as the best to manage a team. I feel as if the old Fleetmatics mentality is still in play. One of the managers in this department is openly insulting to his employees, consistently thinks their way of doing things is the right way and shows no signs of leadership. How do you think it makes a person feel when you are being threatened to be fired daily? If you are on the inbound queue you are practically untouchable. Managers and closers tend to give those few people more attention. A majority of the managers and closers here want us to practically do everything to get the deal signed to the point where we have to fight tooth and nail with our closers to sit with a customer and demo our service, which is their job. You are required to set appointments, in which the closers demonthe service. If it sells you and the closer get the revenue off that deal. However as the Business rep it is on you to hunt and qualify the appointment with the closer to do a TO, take over, to make sure it is a qualified appointment. Closers here, at least on my team, don’t like to do it unless it is a size able deal. I’m still required to get my appointments to avoid a corrective action. Their is a strong fear of retaliation as well and HR is non existent in the two years I have been with the company.

Thank you for your feedback and perspective. After integrating several companies into one, we certainly recognize some opportunities to improve. I am happy to see your acknowledgement of our great people, benefits, and competitive pay. Through our LEAD initiative, we aim to improve leadership skills at all levels. Some of the examples you cite require more context. I have shared your comments with our Chief People Officer, who sits in the Rolling Meadows office, and he welcomes a confidential discussion where he can take steps to address some of these matters directly.

Great Team and Culture. Exciting technological advances.

Recent RIFs have left customers in a lurch as they 'fire' customers and release the accounts to untrained resellers.
