Pros
I was a legacy Telogis employee. Telogis had a great culture and team, including leadership. My manager at both Telogis and Verizon Connect was great to work for.
Cons
The culture and software took a major decline once Verizon started implementing their team and processes. There was zero transparency from senior leadership. There would be occasional "all hands" calls where leadership would give quarterly results but you never received a true picture of what their plans were to grow the company and continue to innovate. The integration between Telogis and Fleetmatics was laughable. Both of those companies fit into their market but there was a great opportunity to merge the two together to build a great product. That never happened. I began to get worried once wireless sales reps began to sell and support fleet telematics. You have to understand the industry you are selling to before you can be successful and this seemed to be ignored. There was also quite a bit of favoritism. If you were good at brown-nosing and were one of the chosen, then you were good and would receive extra attention and additional resources to get your job done. If you were a higher performer, you would receive a higher workload and some praise for a job well done. The work/life balance was non-existent.
