Pros
Really great benefits, a lot of coaching and opportunity to advance your individual skills and improve your resume, networking and knowing the right people is key to advancing within the company. Really good job to teach someone how to work in a professional environment if that's what you are looking for. Work hard to get out of the retail side and into the corporate side if you want to make this a career. If you get stuck in retail, burnout is a very real problem.
Cons
It's a sales-based, commissioned environment so you are given a quota you are expected to hit. In my last few months with the company, the sales coaching became less about improving you as a (sales)person and more about trying to get guests to buy more product that they may not have needed. When you pressure people into buying or selling things in a short time frame, you lose a lot of integrity and create a poor culture for the employee and customer. I first-hand witnessed the quick decline of employee satisfaction as they were given more demands and less coaching on how to achieve these sales goals. This was a very big hit to their confidence in their ability to do their job well.
