Pros

Descent call center pay, great benefits, off weekends and some holidays, and SOMETIMES schedule flexibility with flex and make up time. Job stability(Literally) you can get stuck with the position and the company with no promotion, but you will be able to keep the job. Who wants that if you want more out of life than a call center position?

Cons

I have been with the company a little over 2 years. The company will sell you the job and opportunities at first with in the company. Truth be told, the company will over work you with stats, numbers, and surveys that are not totally controllable. Yet, this will determine your success within the company and promotions. There are very talented people that may become stuck on the phones because some uncontrollable surveys or even management. Networking and surveys are very important if you do not want to be a statistic and stay on the phone. It is a very stressful environment when you have goals to move up. Management with many supervisors are micro. That alone can cause stress and performance to not be as great as it can be. We are adults and are responsible whether we do our job well or not. It is a high school environment, a lot of dreams are sold to employees without following through from upper management. Too many supervisors gossip and can over step boundaries.

Pros

Compensation is competitive but you will work very hard for it. Culture is excellent and exhibited and practiced from the top down. Benefits are excellent and cost reasonable. 401k match and profit sharing. Lots of training and professional development opportunities. Can advance if you're willing to relocate.

Cons

Company is trying to transform into what it wants to be beyond a wireless carrier (cloud?, security?, telematics?, wholesaler?, etc) and is struggling with a vision, resources, and org structure to make it a reality. Several re-organizations over last few years so job security has frequently been a question. Often delayed response to competitors caused by management's concern that acting would result in not meeting Wall Street expectations. Not the "happiest" place to work because no result is ever good enough and successes aren't celebrated because the focus is always on the next weekly/monthly/quarterly goal.
