Pros
Good money, if you're good at what you do. Benefits are okay for now, but they are starting to decline. Great job for a 18-24 year old high school graduates or someone in college.
Cons
taking advantage of people, being held to unrealistic standards, micromanagement, unethical conduct, consolidated job titles, union busting, being the face of the epitome of corporate greed. CEO received a 17m per year raise, everyone else had benefits cut. This is not a career, this is a placeholder until you find something really worthwhile where you can make a difference. Sales expectations come from people who have never worked in retail sales. I am told that I didn't sell a basic flip phone or a smartphone for $200 that someone can get at best buy for free because I didn't sell the customer on the VALUE of buying from me, and then I receive coaching and advice on the situation. It's a joke.
