The salary and benefits are good.

Almost all management has no idea what happens in the field, they make bad policy decision after bad policy decision. Most recently, they hired a number of people, barely trained them, supplied almost no tools and then sent them to the field to work on their own to do Line work. This is a dangerous job when trained, to send people in the field unprepared like this is irresponsible and could potentially result in injuries or worse. Management never admits when they are wrong and are too far removed from what happens in the field to make good decisions.
