Pros
They pay well but it didn't take me long to figure out why. You will earn every dime. They do offer great benefits and insurance. They provide vacation and personal time but I soon discovered it wasn't so easy to use due to the high quotas and scheduling needs. Also trying to play catch up when you get back is difficult.
Cons
In sales it is an extremely intense, high stress environment. They are constantly upping the anti. If you give 100% they want a 150%. The shifts and time demands require to you basically make this job your life. The schedule always includes nights and weekends. I value my personal and family time so this probably wasn't a good fit for me. But if you love to make money, and the pursuit of doing so drives your every move, this is your kinda place. I found that the "money first" mentality is what it takes to survive. If you see customers as wallets instead of humans, you will do extremely well. Don't get me wrong, I like money. Not only does it pays the bills but it dictates how comfortable your lifestyle will be and what kind of vacations you will take, but for me, and some co-workers who left before and after me, we all had something in common. We first and formost valued our time and our families and were happy to live with less to avoid the stress and sacrifices that were required to stay on the payroll.
