Overall compensation is relatively fair; they offer good 401K matching; the benefits are fair; the company is at the leading edge of the boom in all forms of wireless communications including data transfer
Cons
No opportunity for advancement on the wireline side; in fact, it does not matter how well you do your job or what you accomplish; constant downsizing; every year is another round of reductions in: jobs, pay, bonuses and benefits; don't believe anything you hear or read about "best place to work" - they do not care... at all; they are making their quarterly numbers through deep cuts in employees and the rest of us are expected to do the work previously done by 2, 3 or more; even recently new hires in non-mgmt positions are brought on, worked to death and then dumped before they become eligible for any retirement or healthcare benefits; if "diversity" does not work in your favor look elsewhere
