Pros
Job stability, Fortune 500 company, arguably number #1 in the industry, room for growth, good bonus and competitive salaries. Benefits are OK, but nothing to write home about. They're actually on par with the rest of industry benefits is you ask me
Cons
In IT they over work you, you'll have to give up your evenings during the week, and many of your weekends too. Also, many incompetent and mediocre developers (looks like they have not even written a computer program before in their lives), makes the job that much harder for the few IT developers that are actually good. If you're a good developer, don't look to advance your skills. You'll spend most of your time cleaning up the mess of other so called developers. If you're really good just go to Google or similar company, don't waste your time here
