Pros
Salary looks good on paper Health benefits are good There are a select few who are great to work with.
Cons
Salary looks good on paper because when you calculate it down to an hourly wage based on the excessive number of hours you will work, it's really not worth much. There is no work life balance here; the more you give the more they will take and continue to expect more and more until you have no life, just work. If you aren't part of their good ol' network or if you go against the grain at all, be prepared to get scolded for not having a cult like mentality in your thinking and behavior. They change direction constantly, creating a lot of rework and wasted time in constantly refocusing efforts instead of getting work done. A decision is made this morning and everyone shifts direction and tomorrow it changes again. If you enjoy being in a constant state of flux and unknown then this is definitely the right place for you. The environment is chaotic at best. Upper management has no clue what it takes to maintain a good employee moral or work environment. Every year the employees give poor ratings on the employee survey and every year they claim changes are forth coming yet nothing ever comes but empty promises.
