Cons
Seemed like all first- and even second-level managers micro-managed and there was no recourse, as HR and higher levels of management would support lower level managers at all costs; lots of people with significant experience, strong work ethics, and healthy enough egos that they didn't feel compelled to act like prima donnas were regularly subjected to the most ludicrous criticism by managers who, in many cases, had very little experience themselves; respect was just not apparent in day-to-day environment (it was whoever wielded the bigger stick or pitched the bigger fit who got their way); pure lip-service to new ideas, suggestions, and feedback; heaven forbid one was foolish enough to be honest in a meeting with any manager, because any sort of complaint would be used against you; one of the worst work experiences of my 30+ years as a professional
