Pros

- Most of my coworkers were cool - Will help you land a better job after some experience

Cons

Where to even begin - Pay is horrendous (35K or so) for one of the most expensive areas in the country (DC suburbs) and no raises were given this year. If you work here, you will be struggling to survive especially if you have loans. - You will work nights and weekends, and often longer than 40 hour weeks with no additional compensation. 80 hour work weeks are pretty common due to turnover. - Management does not care about its employees: one is inflexible and stuck in the stone age and another is totally inept at his job. Tried to rush employees back during COVID putting their well-being in danger. Calls employees entitled. - No opportunities for growth whatsoever. The only way to move up in your career is to leave after a year or 2. Any "promotions" were based on favoritism not merit. In summary, overworked and underpaid. If you're a recent Meteorology grad, stay far, far away from this place. It's tough starting out, but you will hate your life if you work here. There's a reason this place is a revolving door with no signs of changing. If you have no other options, get your experience and get out at the first opportunity.
