The company’s culture and working environment changed significantly after Christopher Young became CEO and several former McAfee colleagues joined the leadership team. Employees were increasingly expected to take on substantially larger workloads, often without additional resources or clear long-term support.
Morale declined further after the company reduced its workforce and moved a number of roles to its India operations as part of cost-saving efforts. Based on my experience and conversations with former colleagues, many remaining employees continue to feel overextended and uncertain about job security. There are still talented people at the company, but the ongoing restructuring and pressure to do more with fewer resources have made it a difficult environment.
