Pros
GREAT people to work with- especially Associate Director level and below. Lots of young professionals, so high energy, great morale. Work-life balance is amazing- working over time is not at all common and not expected. Flexible work hours as long as line manager approves (they typically always do). Unbelievable health, dental, pet care, tuition reimbursement, etc. and great pay. Four weeks paid vacation to start, 5 years after being there 5 years. Week between Christmas-New Years is closed.
Cons
Re-orgs seem to happen frequently. Pretty political place to work- as are almost all businesses. Promotions seem very difficult and rare. Not much of a career path for junior employees (up to manager level). Dependent on department, many of the director level and above employees are ok, not great, and not loved by all who work under them.
