Pros

There are a handful of hard working kind and smart people that are stuck there for a mirad of reasons.

Cons

Toxic. HR works hard to create a positive work environment but thats hard to sustain when management only pretends to care and follow through on the policies HR works to instill. Very disjointed. Leadership cant deliever an honest and concise value prop but demands accountability with little assistance.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and insights. We’re glad to hear that you recognized the dedication of many hard-working and kind individuals within our team. We truly value the contributions of our employees and the efforts in fostering a positive work environment. We regret to hear that your experience with management and leadership fell short of your expectations. One of our values is "Making Good better" which to us highlights that we can always be improving. Particularly where you mentioned in strengthening trust, alignment, and support between leadership and our teams - we have leadership programs focused on these areas. We are actively working to ensure policies and initiatives are not only developed but also followed through in a meaningful way. We understand the importance of investing in our people and have invested in salary benchmarking coupled with a transparent compensation philosophy to show our commitment to our employees' growth. If you have additional insights to share, we would welcome the opportunity to learn more about your experience.

Pros

The team works hard and actually enjoys working together. A lot of employees have stayed a long time because they love the culture and the team they work with. The pace is fast and you'll have real responsibility from day one, you won't just be a cog in a large product org. It's the kind of place where you can build meaningful skills, make a visible impact, and grow quickly. Unlimited time off, and employees actually use it. You also get 3 wellness days and a hybrid (3/day per week) or remote work schedule (depending on the position). Just moved to a great new office in Soho.

Cons

Things move quickly and priorities can shift, so if you prefer a more structured corporate environment it may be an adjustment. That said, the pace creates real opportunities to take on more responsibility as a PM.

Pros

- There are some genuine, solid people who care about their jobs and want to do good work - some parts of the technology are good

Cons

This list could go on forever. If you are smart and care at all for your career, you should avoid Verve at all costs. - toxic work environment - constant layoffs - absolutely no communication from senior management - no vision - the overall product is 4 years behind - revolving door of execs - the CEO has the charisma and vision of a potato - expected to work non stop - pay is low
