Pros

People are smart and collegial. My rating is based on my colleagues and not company management.

Cons

No emphasis on diversity. The company core values don’t mention diversity or collaboration at all. The executive committee is blindingly white and male, and they are self-isolating so they don’t have a good sense of the attitudes of their employees. There’s a big emphasis on winning the BBJ Best Places To Work every year without focusing on how to actually make it a great place to work. There’s big pressure on employees to fill out the survey positively. It’s super clear that management views staff primarily as a means to make them money.

We are sorry to hear that you feel this way. However, both positive and challenging feedback are mechanisms for driving change. With that, we appreciate your comments and will take them into consideration as we continue to expand on our programs to promote diversity and excellence. We agree that diversity is an important driver of our continued success and are committed to making gains in this area. For example, we have sponsored for our employees to attend the Women's Leadership Conference in Boston and will look to participate in other diversity programs in the future.

Pros

Flexible schedule, introduction-friendly. Everyone is very kind.

Cons

Most people work from home; therefore, the in-person experience is almost non-existent.
