Pros

Stocked kitchen, swag, and some great coworkers

Cons

I enjoyed my time there at first. I had supportive teammates and the vibe was great, with holiday bonuses, 401k drops, and a generally positive and supportive environment. Looking back though, the "culture" is just a facade. When the mortgage market took a downward turn, instead of being transparent and honest, the company started focusing on "performance" and weeding out anyone with even a hint of subpar performance, even if those employees were struggling in their personal lives and working towards improvement. Instead of the word "layoffs" hitting the news and damaging their precious reputation, they could pin the blame on employees. Employees were let go out of the blue despite no written warnings and led to believe THEY were the problem when in reality, they were just layoffs in disguise. I definitely felt that they protected their inner circle of couples, siblings, and best friends (all working together) and pushed away anyone outside of that. Additionally, despite the preaching from execs about the culture of caring, they are like any other corporation in that you're only valuable until you're not.

Pros

Paid time off is given on day one and goes up again at 1 and 5 years. Lots of personal growth opportunities and events for the whole family. Flexible schedule in some departments. Free coffee, tea, drinks, and snacks. Caring environment, where everyone is treated fairly. Very loose dress code, no need to dress up every day!

Cons

Some non production positions should be paid more. Health benefits are ok but I've had better at other companies. Some positions can be very stressful.
