Pros

Many people are smart, resourceful, and friendly.

Cons

Via is terrible about recruitment - teams will go understaffed for nearly a year while they go through 100s of candidate interviews. Usually CEO or another executive will veto the candidates, even if they are so wonderful. I don't see a path for change here since it comes from the top. Worst People Ops team I've ever experienced (comes from the top). They are tone deaf and NOT there to help.

Our recruitment process is comprehensive and intentional: by having a diverse set of interviewers, we reduce unconscious biases and really get to know the candidate. We are happy to wait for the right person, because we're committed to building a world-class organization.

Pros

Incredibly supportive management. Extremely healthy work environment. Company culture is top notch. Benefits are well above market average. Using PTO is encouraged, and when on PTO general duties are handled by supportive coworkers.

Cons

Extremely fast-paced environment. Real-time issues can arise, and can be stressful to resolve. Remote work can feel isolating, however, managers and coworkers are extremely easy to reach.

Pros

Most people you work with are nice, PTO is respected.

Cons

No strategy to speak of, the product is not good other than the acquisitions. Customers are treated poorly. C-suite is extremely tone deaf. Decisions come randomly from above with no bearing on what people are doing. There is no review cycle on purpose, the only people who get raises have other offers so many people are leaving. Which is a good idea because the stock price is down so all RSUs are underwater. Most teams are horribly overworked and underpaid and the one day a week lunch is getting worse.
