Pros

Excellent company two years ago, great culture, great teamwork, great reputation that was hard to compete with. Few strong nurses left.

Cons

It is scary how much the owner of this company was hoodwinked and manipulated. He was baited hook, line, and sinker and will struggle because his loyalists are gone. He fired and then laid off an amazing team like they were trash, even though their business was eerily networked 100% by the teams relationships. The tangled web you weave when you don't understand the market you are making decisions in. You can only feel so bad for a guy that will bite the hand that feeds him. Believing in conspiracies doesn't make them true and promoting people that were sabotaging the company already probably won't help. Knee jerk reactions rarely result in referrals and in this case, goodbye to the census. The current team blames census on the need to discharge when in reality, there referrals aren't coming in anymore due to poor business practices.

Pros

Easy to get your foot in the door for almost any position. There were some really great coworkers who made it bearable

Cons

The culture is just terrible. Most people in the company are working significantly more than is healthy and are being underpaid/under appreciated. It’s almost impossible to get time off without feeling like you’re leaving extra work for coworkers and/or management is guilting you. Middle management passes down commands from higher ups without being willing to hear out their staff or advocate for them. There is a very clear disconnect between the DPSs, TBS Specialists, other field staff, and anyone working in management. Your manager makes or breaks your experience and upper management won’t reprimand or make changes when a bad manager chases staff away. High turnover makes it really difficult to feel connected to the community and it’s really easy to feel like your voice is not being heard. There are so many concerning stories about our clients that get passed around, and a lot of them get chalked up to “it’s the field”. I would never recommend anyone I know to work for this company or receive their services.
