Pros

Nice colleagues and cool office, acceptable work-life balance except several times when I had to connect on weekends

Cons

Management quality is inconsistent, and some promotions appear to be influenced more by personal relationships than performance. Meanwhile, employees who consistently work hard but are not closely connected with management can remain in specialist roles for years without career progression. Salary increases are difficult to negotiate, and compensation is often below market level. Over the past year, several employees were dismissed in a manner that many considered unprofessional and disrespectful, despite their significant contributions to the company’s growth and success.

Regarding the concerns you've raised about career progression, this topic is something we treat seriously. Like all companies, we are not perfect, we are however very proud of the following people-related achievements: • Internal mobility: 63% of Viber's senior managers inc. Directors and 90% of our executive team / C-level including our CEO were promoted from within the company. Career growth is something we not only preach about, we practice it daily. • Employee retention: our annual voluntary turnover (employees choosing to leave) is 7.5% below the tech-industry benchmark of 13% • Employee boomerang rate (employees choosing to come back to the company for a 2nd time): is 3.5%, a very high figure compared to companies of our size. On the part of your review that touches on individual departures: out of respect to our employees, both present and past, we don't discuss the circumstances of any employee leaving the company in public forums.

Pros

- Corporate culture - Interesting business trips - Existence of the year bonus - Payment for the lunches - Cool team buildings - Amazing team

Cons

- Salary increase per year is just 50$ gross (max is 200$ but in case you are promoted from Manager to Lead) - I had the same amount of the year bonus for the whole period of my work - No opportunity to work remotely from any other country, you have to stay in your country and go to office on a hybrid mode
