Pros

The associates who work on the sales floor are the hardest working and most compassionate group of people you will ever meet. Company expectations are very high and quality performance is expected almost instantly, so the atmosphere attracts trust and rapport between the team quickly. When performing bra fittings, there are many instances where you can positively impact a woman in one of the most intimate moments of her life, sometimes erasing years of confusion and self doubt because of incredible service. Benefit coverage is competitive and cost effective.

Cons

The company has been going through several initiatives in the past few years to make the company culture more rewarding for the associates and managers. However, the constant change has led to a break down in established processes and timely communication. Very often, multiple times per week, there are changes to change store visuals, price changes, or a reduction in payroll that need to be in effect or completed the next morning and not communicated until after 5pm the day before, leading to either misinformation and then scrambling in the morning, or immediate stress for the associates and managers in the store to complete timely causing established schedules to be altered and resentment towards upsetting work life balance. The company encourages an open door policy for all concerns and encouragement, however the follow up is inconsistent depending upon each store, district and regional manager with sometimes little or absent support. As someone working in store level management, this takes a great strain on the productive energy and requires lots of work to keep an open and supportive mindset for the associate team. Hours for interviews and training have decreased significantly, as well as multiple stores being open on Christmas day and Easter with added restrictions of when paid time off can be taken.

Pros

Have met some amazing coworkers. Brand itself is fun.

Cons

Sudden Return to Work mandate 3 days in NY or OH SIX years after COVID. Any current employees outside of those states are being let go if they don’t uproot their lives and relocate. Many employees in those states built their lives around what seemed to be a permanent remote flexibility arrangement (most companies went back in 23). When Hillary Super came on she even stated in one of her first Q&A’s on remote work that where people do their jobs wasn’t a big concern for her as long as we continued to drive the business forward. The business is doing the best it ever has in the last five years. Leadership reasoning for mandate is continuing to fall flat. Mandate came absolutely out of NOWHERE.
