Pros
(I work for Victoria's Secret Pink) - Great coworkers - Great discounts (30% for part-timers and 40% for full-timers, on top of 10 items of your choice for 50% off every quarter, a free outfit which consists of a knit top, a fleece top, and a bottom every quarter, and extremely discounted/free items at least once a month) - Customers are great sometimes
Cons
Sit down for this one. - Credit cards/"driving loyalty". If you don't do well with credit cards, stay far away from this company. Every training video, store meeting, and shift warm-up you have is going to be HEAVILY credit card based and just about nothing else. They essentially make store associates TRICK customers to opening up credit cards by offering a one-time transaction incentive discount IF they're approved, and if they aren't, no discount for that customer. This leads to A LOT of upset customers that we have to CONSTANTLY BEND RULES for, and then we're reprimanded for keeping the customer happy. - Upper level management (DM's and upward). Absolutely lazy with no work ethic, continues to critique and critique about every minute thing but doesn't tell you HOW to fix it. Allows their own children to receive their gratis offers because they can't fit into it themselves. - The "values" training/pro-shoplifting culture. Yep, you read that right, and have probably seen this on multiple reviews for this company. Go ahead and shoplift from any of our stores. We can do ZERO about it except file a "external known loss" form essentially stating a brief description about you, and if you happen to leave anything behind that you were planning on taking, a broad overview of those items. We cannot call mall security on you. We cannot call the cops on you. We cannot approach you saying "we saw you steal" or "give us our items back" but instead we have to continue to pester you if you need our assistance. I've never seen stolen merchandise returned, and have never heard of any criminal charges pursued from our location. - Some upper-level store management will listen to your complaints about other associates in the store and do absolutely nothing to resolve the problem - Some, if not all, members of SLT were given their positions due to favoritism or availability purposes ONLY, not because of the skill set they have (which a lot of the SLT have roles that are too elevated for the skill set they possess) - Been in my position for quite some time now, has still not seen the raise I was promised upon my promotion
